Oh wow...this was an amazing fic (and you're right: FFII definitely needs more fan-works love!). I've always rather wondered what was going on in Leon's mind in the game considering everything he does (especially since they don't really give too much reasoning for it at all), and I think you captured what could have been his mindset perfectly: it certainly fits with how he usually comes across...and it fleshes out his character quite nicely. What he does isn't very agreeable ("antagonistic" is definitely a good word for it, I think), and I liked how you portrayed that even he knows that too even if he doesn't admit it vocally. You did a great character introspective piece! *is thoroughly impressed* ♥

Also, random but...I love the icon you're using for this post, but I can't quite place which FF game it's from. It's a great icon and image though--just wanted to mention that! :D
