I know nobody here has any gil yet, but for those of you who are interested in opening shops, the fanworks bazaar is now open.

...Uh. D'you really want to pay me to make you graphics? Because I'm not very good at it. XD; Otherwise, if you want me to draw something to make a particular graphical thingie, I'll charge for the fanart and do the graphics part free of charge, as long as it's relatively simple. (For example, drawing something specific to make into an icon, or making a wallpaper with textures and a lineart, or something.)

Writing:

Drabble: 200 gil
<1000 words: 1.5 gil/word, to the nearest 100 words
1001-3000 words: 1.75 gil/word, to the nearest 100 words
3000+ words: 2 gil/word, to the nearest 100 words

...Because, guys, I don't like writing long things. ;_;

All prices are for full (or mostly-full) body, one character. Cost is slightly less for busts (around 2/3 or 3/4) and chibis (around 1/2).

Additional Characters: +.75x cost for full body/bust, +1x cost for chibis.

Backgrounds: Not happening. ...Okay, simple backgrounds (ie, a staircase or something or a couple tables?) will cost .5x the rest of the cost; complex backgrounds (full backgrounding stuff @_@) will cost 1x the rest of the cost. Basic background-like-props (ie, someone sitting, so a chair; or holding a railing or something) will be free of charge, of course. We'll work out this cost before you buy.

Graphics - nb: I don't currently have access to photoshop, so my graphics will be really shit until I get a new laptop - do bear this in mind. This also explains the lower prices ^_^;; GIMP has really terrible fonts and I hate using it...
Icons: 25 gil per icon
Banners: 100 gil (tag banners, etc.)
LJ banners: 250 gil, simply because they're usually larger

Another note for graphics: I will make them for any fandom, as long as I can find artwork (which I usually can XD), so don't feel restricted by my fandoms list - that only applies to my writing.

Fic
Drabbles: 500 gil, with an increase of 50 per every 100 words over. So for a double drabble, it'd be 550, and so on. I can also write drabbles to a specific style, so if you want it to be in the style of [insert thing/author here] and I've read something by that person, feel free to ask (although there'll be a 25 gil fee for if I've not read anything by that person...)

Short fic: 2500 gil; this is slightly higher than it would be, simply because of my current time restraints. Short fics, in my mind, go from 700 words up to, well... around 6000 or more. If you want a specific word count, (say about 2000) there will be a bit of an extra charge, depending on how inspired I feel by the prompt. ^_^;;

Longer fic: Not happening, unfortunately. 6000 is the maximum I'll write, considering my time restraints and my own writing to factor in as well.

Other Details: nb for fics: I can't write for anything I've never played before, or something I don't know very well, so as long as you stay within these games, you won't go wrong: FFVII and compilation, FFVIII, FFIX, FFX, FFXII, FFX-2 (although I'm sketchy on the secondary characters in this game), FFXIII. I've played FFIV, but I don't feel confident enough to write in the fandom, alas.

• What my FF fic looks like is a mystery, even to me. So... you can request if you'd really like fic for the games listed above (I'd be happy to try because they're my favorites!) but the quality will be dubious. Let's say a short piece (300-800 words) on the topic of your choice will be 1000 gil, if I'm actually successful.

ART
• A chibi character: 750 gil
• A pairing piece: 2000 gil (note: this piece is a lot messier than what an ordinary request piece would look like; a fill of this type would look more like the chibi linked above)
• An animated pixel art chibi thing: 2000 gil -> request a character and I'll make a little customized pixel thingy you can stick anywhere you like (note: it might not have any more animation than simple blinking)
• General art request: negotiate -> if you just have a general idea for art that doesn't really fit the above, let me know and I'll set a price.
All art requests will be full color. You can also specify a certain art style if you like (anime, realistic, etc.).

So, I saw you mentioned Gau on your top 10 underrated character list. I was wondering if you'd be willing to write something where Gau = Enkidu and Sabin (or really anyone; could even be FFV!Gilgamesh) = Gilgamesh (as in, from Sumerian myth). I don't know how this would work at all (just a parallel/juxtaposition thing, or an AU, or I don't even know) and I don't know if you're familiar with the Gilgamesh epic, but I always thought the scene where Sabin & Cyan encounter Gau was similar to the way Gilgamesh encountered Enkidu. If you're interested and could make it work, I'd pay 1000 gil for a shortfic. :)

Based on this story here (http://moogle-workshop.livejournal.com/5057.html#cutid1) which you don't have to read... but basically Squall and Selphie are hanging out while Squall tries to relax and have some alone time, and Selphie gets bored and summons Carbuncle to talk (since Squall won't talk to her lol)
