I really liked this piece! Your characterization of Vaan seemed consistent with both FFXII and his appearances in Dissidia (which I am told is reminiscent of Revenant Wings), and I enjoyed your portrayal of Reks as a dutiful brother who was doing what he needed to do, to keep their 'family' fed.

Also, the interaction between Reks and Vaan made me wibble a bit, since the events of XII and your foreshadowing make me remember exactly how Reks' career ends.
