Aw, thank you for always being my beta reader! ♥ I'm glad that I wrote their relationship naturally and believably...I'm never quite sure if I manage to do romance-esque stories well or not. XD I'm glad you thought I was able to make Caraway seem like a genuine person and that I managed to keep him in-line with what we see of his character in-game...I kind of liked writing about his perspective on his family since from how his dialogue is presented it did seem like he cared for them quite a bit even if circumstances with him and Rinoa weren't the best.

I always wished that FFVIII had given a bit more closure to Caraway and Rinoa's story...they had him mention to her that one line about how she would always have a home there or something no matter what she thought of him if you go back to Deling City after everything happened, but they never really had Rinoa acknowledge it or anything--having just an extra scene between the two of them would have been rather neat considering how you did see that he actually cared about his daughter and everything. Once I saw the "closure" prompt, that was the first story idea to come to mind and since I was already planning the one fic...I figured I'd just go ahead and combine them both together to make one continuous story! :)

~Hehe, I almost didn't make it again this week! XD I was really glad that I managed to finish the fic in time before the Creative Workshop ended, and finally being able to write out my idea for the unfilled prompt was great too. I swear I didn't know it was going to be that long when I started it though, lolz! XD Thank you for your encouragement and thoughts! I'm glad you liked the story. ♥
