I really wanted to try to set it up like it was going to be a prologue to the "game" itself (since I went with the Fortress concept when I had my brainstorm for the challenge). :) I'm glad you liked the intrigue in it...it was rather fun writing Larsa like that in a way since I've never written him like that before, but I sort of thought he might act that way in a pretty dangerous situation with a total stranger. I wasn't sure what to think of it when I wrote it, but I'm really glad you enjoyed it! ♥

You're welcome. :) They kind of "revealed" Fortress rather quietly so I think it slipped under a lot of people's radars (especially since it is in "development limbo" currently) so I wanted to give a reference for the whole Fortress idea I was going with. XD I really loved the art and concept designs they've shown for it as they're quite pretty...hopefully we'll actually hear one way or another on it officially soon, as it does seem like it could be rather intriguing if they DO decide to still continue with it! *crosses fingers* :D
