I'd forgotten about Ashe wearing feathers on her wedding day. (I'll admit I wasn't as crazy about Ashe's wedding ensemble as I was about Yuna's, but it was still gorgeous and gave tremendous insight into her character before the war and the resistance made her cold and distant.)

Penelo's inclusion, I think, was greatly influenced by Larsa and his friendship and support of her. A powerful mage, and a Dalmascan. I think she'd carry on Ashe's dream of a free, peaceful Dalmasca.
