Oh wow, thank you! :) I kind of always imagined that maybe Ashe was trying to think of how to say something comforting to Larsa during that scene when she hesitates right before the party leaves after he hears about his father's death in the game (but just couldn't because of her own need for revenge against Archades at the time)--which in turn gave me the idea for the fic.
