Drabbles
These are the drabbles I submitted to the recent Drabble Challenge! I...uh, don't normally write fan fiction, but I gave it a shot anyways. XD

Title: Hot Dogs
Summary: Zell is hungry. Squall is...Squall. :)
Characters: Zell and Squall.
Word count: 100
Rating/warnings: None! Legal disclaimer: I don't own Final Fantasy VIII or the game's characters. Square-Enix does!
Prompt 1: Hunger
Hot Dogs (FFVIII)
The growl of his stomach resounded so loudly he was sure everyone had heard it, with the possible exception of the people in the next Garden. Squall glanced his way with an annoyed look on his face, which he was certainly used to: Squall usually glanced his way with that expression.
Zell thought of the delicious hot dogs he missed...only to be further embarrassed by yet another telltale sign of his hunger. Squall almost looked amused with the arching of his eyebrow, but hid it when he said in a monotone voice: "You probably should have eaten before we left."

Title: Perfect Gift
Summary: Lightning contemplates the gift her sister gave her.
Characters: Lightning with mentions of Serah.
Word count: 100
Rating/warnings: None! Legal disclaimer: I don't own Final Fantasy XIII or the game's characters. Square-Enix does!
Prompt 2: Silver
Perfect Gift (FFXIII)
She wasn't sure what to make of the knife that her sister had given her. Quickly, she flipped the small blade open into the full size. The survival knife was small, but well forged. The unassuming look it had was a good advantage: a perfect fit for her. The earlier news from Serah had angered her, but looking at the silver blade she understood in a way why she was upset.
Lightning wasn't big on gifts, but she treasured that Serah knew her so well. Flipping the knife blade back down, she hoped one day to tell her just that.

Title: The Light
Summary: Aria thinks about her surroundings.
Characters: Aria with mentions of Luneth, the other Warriors of Light, and her caretaker.
Word count: 100
Rating/warnings: None! Legal disclaimer: I don't own Final Fantasy III or the game's characters. Square-Enix does!
Prompt 3: Wind
The Light (FFIII)
She was surprised she could still feel the wind despite the fact that the time in the Surface World had stopped. Aria supposed that was silly though: just because time had stopped it didn't mean everything was frozen. She was still moving, as was her caretaker...and, taking in the four Warriors of Light with her, she was aware that the light within them shined strongly: a stark contrast to the frozen darkness.
Glancing ahead at Luneth leading the party, she also realized the light within them was gentle like the breeze that caught her long blond hair on the wind.

Title: Bored
Summary: Edge laments over his misfortune, lolz.
Characters: Edge with Kain and Cecil. Mentions of Rydia and Rosa.
Word count: 100
Rating/warnings: None! Legal disclaimer: I don't own Final Fantasy IV or the game's characters. Square-Enix does!
Prompt 4: Curse
Bored (FFIV)
He must be cursed.
That was the only explanation he could come up with for the situation he currently found himself in. The prince of Eblan looked over to see Kain and Cecil, both deep in their own thoughts. Between the two of them, Edge was certain the silence was deafening. "So, when are Rydia and Rosa coming back?" he finally asked.
Kain sighed and didn't even spare him a glance. Cecil smiled like one would trying to appease a child: "They said they'd be back from Item shopping in about three hours."
...Yep, definitely the work of a curse.

Title: Part of the Party
Summary: A Tarutaru who lacks confidence realizes that maybe he doesn't have to feel so insecure.
Characters: A nameless Tarutaru and Mithra.
Word count: 100
Rating/warnings: None! Legal disclaimer: I don't own Final Fantasy XI. Square-Enix does!
Prompt 5: Bard
Part of the Party (FFXI)
The Tarutaru glanced at the traveling party he had found himself in. The Mithra that had invited him to travel with them was a friend from Windurst...otherwise he doubted they would have given him the time of day.
She came up to him with a friendly smile and pointed at his wind instrument, "You know, I think we can all use some traveling music to set the mood!"
The Tarutaru stared dumbfound at his friend: "You want me to play a song?"
She winked, "Of course! Traveling is more fun with a Bard."
The rest agreed and the Tarutaru smiled.
