...Since the fic was only written during the break period between rounds, you can still get points for it. :D
As for the story itself...I really, really liked it! The interaction between Penelo and Balthier was wonderful, and I liked how both of them described the other characters at times too. The dialogue was really fitting of the game's atmosphere...and your descriptions were fantastic: I could SO picture Balthier actually thinking along those lines and describing things as you had him do. This was a great read, and I'm looking forward to reading more installments of the series later on! ♥
