Title: Fell Crimson Moonlight
Summary: Kuja's life, in poetry format
Characters/Pairings: Kuja
Word count: 147
Rating/warnings: The deadlines always get away from me, since they're an hour before midnight for me, so I didn't have as much time to do this one as I hoped, and that probably shows. Also, poetry is hard.

The angel of death wanders through the night
The bright path of souls streams into the sky
Changing blue life to fell crimson moonlight

His brother's life he sought, for some small slight
Cast him out and abandoned him to die
The angel of death wanders through the night

Grants a queen limitless magical might
Twists her thoughts to war with a single lie
Changing blue life to fell crimson moonlight

His brother lives, and learns to do what's right
With the queen's fair daughter, he will ally
The angel of death wanders through the night

They resist him: mage, thief, dragoon, and knight
Against them he calls the dread scarlet eye
Changing blue life to fell crimson moonlight

Sacrifices himself as power's height
But on his brother's heart, he can rely
The angel of death wanders through the night
Changing blue life to fell crimson moonlight

I loved this one! It flowed really well.

... and was incredibly amused as my half-written entry started out with "Angel of Death" as well. XD

5 Points to Team Black Mage!

~Your poem was absolutely incredible. I loved the characterization you gave to Kuja, and how everything just flowed wonderfully throughout the piece. Amazing job, as always! ♥
