More info about shops!

What's going on with the shiny new gil system:

Over here in [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop, we're going to set up a fanworks bazaar where people can use gil for commissions from other [livejournal.com profile] ff_land members! For information on how you obtain gil, check [livejournal.com profile] chacusha's post in [livejournal.com profile] ff_land here.

1. Information for Buyers

You may choose to either make a fill request from a person's individual booth, or make a [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop-wide request.

For individual booths, you give the owner a prompt, and s/he decides on whether s/he will accept it. Prompts can be anything you wish: examples are here.

[livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop-wide requests cost 5000 gil. This price is fixed, unlike individual booths. Any member of [livejournal.com profile] ff_land may respond to this fill; multi-fills are allowed.

If more than one person is interested in posting the same [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop-wide request, you may pool your gil.

2. Information for Sellers

People who are interested in filling out others' prompts can set up a shop in [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop, using the form given below. Each seller gets to set up an individual shop. Put any and all details related to the shop in there - you may wish to add links to previous work, for example.

Shop owners may set their own prices, although we have a general pricing guideline here:

Graphics
Small pack of icons = 500 gil;
Simple wallpaper = 500 gil; more at artist's discretion based on how complex the wallpaper is

Art:
A simple piece featuring one character = 1500 gil
Prices may vary depending on the complexity of the prompt and piece.

Fic
A drabble = 200-300 gil,
A short piece (500 - 600 words) = 1000 gil,
Longer pieces (around 1000 words) = 2000-2500 gil
Someone could also offer fic for a certain amount of money without specifying a word count

Moogle Workshop Requests

A request made to the entirety of [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop, with multi-fills allowed = 5000 gil.

Seller Rewards

You earn 10% of the gil you charge. The rest goes into operating costs.

[livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop-wide requests get a pot of 500 gil, split between the number of people who fill.

Also, we're giving a point bonus for completing fills for others.

Individual fills gain a 10% point bonus, and [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop-wide fills gain a 25% point bonus once they're posted in [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop.

3. Other Shop Details

I'll be making a shop post in a few days (presumably after everyone's posted their magnificent backlog of fanwork that's built up over the days game hasn't been on), with a link to this post.

Copy and paste the little form into a comment response to that post, and you're all set up.

If you want to close shop, and/or change your shop details (especially pricing), freeze your thread first with a note saying that you're changing the details, so nobody can pop in and make a request while you're modifying your shop. Then post the new details in a new comment, and I'll screen all the old stuff.

This seems really interesting! XD My comment is about to make me seem dumb though, lolz: if we're interested in having a shop, do we comment to this post specifically? O_O

Lolz, that's what I thought...but I just wanted to double-check. :)

So when we make a shop to sell things, if we charge 500 gil for something what we actually get put into our personal pool is 50 gil?

Question: if we want to fill requests but don't plan to post it to MWS, how do we go about notifying you of the transaction?
