We've got our first [community profile] moogle_workshop-wide request this game! It's a little long, so I'll be putting it under the cut.

Since I know we have a lot of new people this game, and as a refresher for previous members:

• You do not need to have a stall in the MWS bazaar for this;
• You may fill this prompt more than once: that is, if you have multiple fic/icon/etc. ideas that would go with this prompt, you may submit all of them.
• You will claim all relevant point bonuses for each fill you do (+25% of what your submission would be worth);
• You may only claim your share of the 500 gil pot once. In other words, the gil is given for the fact of your participation, not by how many fills you write.
Please indicate, somewhere in your submitted post, that your entry is a fill for a MWS-wide request. This will let the mods know that they should award you the bonus points for filling the request.

FANDOM: Dissidia/012: Final Fantasy, other Final Fantasies also permissible

As you no doubt know, folks, MWS is back up and running on Dreamwidth now!

So yes, you can post fanwork for points.

I'll be bringing back the bazaar when I figure out a way to host it here, but in the meantime, post away!

Hey everyone, as [livejournal.com profile] sunflower_mynah mentioned, this game we're running a special shop of sorts where you can use gil to purchase banners that can be used as sigtags. The banners will have a particular level and class rank on them (which varies depending on what class you are).

Be sure to come back to this post whenever you've earned enough gil to get the next level!

Hey, guys! Game 4 will be starting soon, so just a few quick things before I open the floodgates on May 15th:

CHANGES

• The poetry point scale has now been changed to 1 point/5 words. There's a new and updated points post here, as well.

• The new and revamped fanworks bazaar is up and stickied! However, MWS-wide requests are remaining at 5000 gil. (I'm afraid I'm not really able to control the number of fills you get; however, the new post does have a few suggestions as to what you should consider before making a MWS-wide request.) Also, yes, you do get a refund if nobody fills!

• Just a reminder: you get gil for both commenting and posting in [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop, and the cap is 200 gil/week.

CLARIFICATIONS

• The drabble bonus is remaining the same. However, to clarify: if you write chained or stitched drabbles, each drabble in that piece gets a bonus. (Please indicate if it's chained or stitched so you can get the bonus points! Word count: "10 x 100" or "1000 words in 10 drabbles" are good ways to indicate that the piece is a chained or stitched drabble.)

• Again, just a reminder: crossovers with non-Final Fantasy fandoms are allowed, as long as the focus is on the Final Fantasy characters. The characters need not necessarily be the protagonists of the game; an FFIX crossover with, say, Legend of Zelda, that features Tantalus, or the black mages of Black Mage Village, or Moguo, is still eligible (regardless of which game's world the fic is situated in.)

• Last but not least, if you need a new tag for a game, character, or pairing, just state it when you post and it'll be added and tagged for you!

Hi guys!

Thank you all for participating in Game 3.

[livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop is now on moderated posting.

ETA: The Fanworks Bazaar is always open, however! You can still set up shop and request fic there, but they won't be let through to receive points until next game.

The new game's starting soon - end of this week, if my memory serves me well enough (and I certainly hope it does.) What this means for you (and for me) is that [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop will be opening its doors again so you guys can flood the place with all the fic you've written in the month and a half this community has been closed. With the de-anons from last game and all the fanworks I'm sure you've produced during the interim period, I really am expecting a flood - so here's some important information regarding Game 3. Do please take a moment to read through it!

• As mentioned in the [livejournal.com profile] ff_land post here, we're scrapping de-anon bonuses for Game 3. However, because some of the [livejournal.com profile] ultima_arena results were posted after [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop was closed, de-anons from those contests will still get points, but only if your submission did not place.

• There's been a very slight revision to the amount of gil awarded for [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop; the new gil cap is 200 gil/week instead of the original 300 gil/week for posting and/or commenting on someone else's fanwork. Gil earned from filling requests is counted separately.

• There's also been a slight change to the point scale for poetry! It was previously 2 points + (1 point per 15 words), but now it's 2 points + (1 point per 10 words). If you need to take a look at the point scales for fanworks, the art scale is here and everything else is here.

• This is a minor thing, but it's regarding tags: FF is a huge fandom, and there's lots of obscure spin-offs. If there's a tag you need that hasn't been included (particularly game tags), please don't hesitate to say you need a new one; it will be added as soon as possible. Or if the tag list gets a little too intimidating, just mention or list the games, and the tags will be added for you.

Other things:

The fanworks bazaar is still ongoing and can be found here. You can make a request or set up shop any time!

There's also a post for beta-readers here. If you need one or would like to offer to be one, you can sign up in that post or contact one there.

Welcome back, guys!

We've got some changes to [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop for Game 2, so if you haven't read them yet, please check out [livejournal.com profile] chacusha's post here and read the post about how to set up a shop here. I'll be opening shops in a few days' time.

Anyway. It's June 1st. Welcome back to the game!

What's going on with the shiny new gil system:

Over here in [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop, we're going to set up a fanworks bazaar where people can use gil for commissions from other [livejournal.com profile] ff_land members! For information on how you obtain gil, check [livejournal.com profile] chacusha's post in [livejournal.com profile] ff_land here.

[livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop has now switched to moderated posting!

All point-earning fanworks will not be released until next game.

(I so need a moogle icon for this.)

As everyone knows, the game ends on April 30th. Once the game ends, [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop will be switching to moderated posting.

This means that if you have any point-earning fanworks you want to submit, please post them by 11:59 pm EDT (3:59 am GMT) on April 30th if you want them to count towards the final tally in this game.

After [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop switches to moderated posting, non-point-earning fanwork will be let through, but any fanwork that earns points will be posted only once the second game starts. I'll be posting a notice once the moderated posting period begins!

Non-point-earning fanworks include:

1) any fanwork submitted for [livejournal.com profile] ultima_arena or [livejournal.com profile] ff_minigames;
2) fanwork that you created before you joined the game.

So if you wish to de-anon, feel free to do so, because I'll still be letting those through after the game ends. (In fact, please do so!)

[livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop isn't a paid community, so LJ only allows one post per user in the queue at any one time. If you have new fanwork to post, feel free to go ahead, but it's a good idea to post non-point earning ones first so I can let them through before your post gets stuck in the queue til the new game begins.

Last note: if you're not sure about tagging, don't worry about it; I'll tag the posts for you guys, as long as I can see them in the fanwork/description. If you need me to create/add tags for anything, just mention it in the description and it'll be added as soon as possible!

Just a friendly mod reminder:

1. To all those who participated in the [livejournal.com profile] ultima_arena challenges, please feel free to de-anon by posting your fics/drabbles/etc. here! They won't get points, though.

2. Game's ending soon, so if you want to claim points for any of your fanworks, do remember to post it up by midnight on the 30th!
