Summary: A fic for the "balance" prompt over at airship_lounge. Torn between her two older sisters' paths of life, Mjrn is still undecided over which direction she herself will inevitably go. A meeting with a traveler to The Wood and a surprising gift helps ease her mind somewhat.
Characters/Pairings: Mjrn is the main focus of the story, with Jote and Larsa both showing up and having dialogue in the fic. Heavy mentions of Fran and Chit the Cockatrice as well. Icarus is actually a minor character in FFXII (he's the wounded Imperial soldier you have to give a Potion to before entering the Henne Mines), I just gave him a name and elaborated on his background/personality. AND Boco the Chocobo (who is fond of showing up in Ivalice games, it seems! ♥) makes an appearance too.
