Summary: My entry for the "Five Years After" fic challenge over at

ultima_arena. Set six years after FFXII and five years after FFXII: Revenant Wings. A mysterious building known only as the Fortress has appeared in Ivalice, and with its appearance fierce monsters and similar ruins have also shown up all over the world with no explanation. As the armies deal with the monsters, a Clan Centurio member and an unlikely companion are contemplating what they've seen and what to do next after escaping from inside the Fortress itself...
Characters/Pairings: Larsa = Lamont (it is the alias he used when he was first introduced in FFXII to the party). Neesa is an original character, but I designed her to be an ancestor to Lady Neesa from Vagrant Story (a homage to another awesome Ivalice Alliance game! ♥). Ashe and Montblanc are both mentioned in the fic (as is Neesa's brother), and the mysterious Judge-like character from the Fortress concept art also makes an appearance.
Word count: 997
Rating/warnings: PG (maybe PG-13 at parts due to fight scene and character death descriptions).

Summary: A fic for the "balance" prompt over at

airship_lounge. Torn between her two older sisters' paths of life, Mjrn is still undecided over which direction she herself will inevitably go. A meeting with a traveler to The Wood and a surprising gift helps ease her mind somewhat.
Characters/Pairings: Mjrn is the main focus of the story, with Jote and Larsa both showing up and having dialogue in the fic. Heavy mentions of Fran and Chit the Cockatrice as well. Icarus is actually a minor character in FFXII (he's the wounded Imperial soldier you have to give a Potion to before entering the Henne Mines), I just gave him a name and elaborated on his background/personality. AND Boco the Chocobo (who is fond of showing up in Ivalice games, it seems! ♥) makes an appearance too.

Summary: Reks finishes his military training and receives the orders for his first mission. Written for the

airship_lounge prompt of "training"...I sort of went over the word limit though, so I'm posting it here instead.
Characters/Pairings: No pairings. Character focus is on Reks and Vaan primarily. Cameos by Penelo and Migelo.
Word count: 2,877 (my biggest fic yet! O_O)
Rating/warnings: G. This fic is set right before the part when you play as Reks in FFXII, so there's lots of alluding to his future here. Those familiar at all with his story or the game should know what that means, although there are no actual spoilers!
